Calling all dance teams & companies
Take the stage at National Dance Day
Aimed Dance and the Department of Theatre and Dance invite all SETX dance teams and companies to represent their studio and schools at National Day Day 2026. We have a robust dance community full of extremely talented dancers and performers. NDD allows us to come together and celebrate our passion and dedication to the art of dance.
Works submitted must be connected to a studio or school. No individuals may apply.
The dance must be 4 minutes or less.
Ensemble works are preferred, dances with 3 or less are welcome.
The SETX Showcase will take place at Lamar University in our outdoor courtyard.
The stage will be set. The audience is welcome to bring their own chairs and snacks.
The performance is open and free of charge to the public.

Classes
Movement classes in various genres and styles will be offered throughout the morning from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Classes are open to the public and free of charge. Experience levels and ages will be listed next to the class offering.
Calling all vendors
SELL. PROMOTE. ENGAGE.
Join us as we celebrate the vibrant dance economy and the directors, teachers, and students that make it happen in SETX. Artisans, local businesses, and organizations are invited to showcase their work, bring awareness to their missions, and come together as a community.
Applications are now open for this free, family friendly event held on the grounds at Lamar University.
Vendor Fees: $50 for artisans, $25 for local businesses, and free to nonprofits offering an activity.
*Fees will be collected after application has been accepted.
Before you apply…
*Lamar University requires the following: due with application
– all FOOD vendors must provide a W9, Health Department Certification, & Certificate of Liability Insurance
– all other artisans (selling goods) must provide a W9 and Sales Permit from the TX Comptroller
*Canopies, tables, and chairs will not be provided.
*Electric hook ups are not available. Vendor will be responsible for any power source needs.
*The market will run from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. All vendors agree to remain for the entire event.
