ADVANCED EDUCATION FOR FUTURE PROFESSIONALS
Designed for home-school dancers ages 9–17, the Aimed Dance Professional Training Program offers an advanced educational approach to deepen current practice and prepare students for a lifelong journey in performance, choreography, and movement studies. Participants will receive weekly instruction in modern and contemporary ballet, with a strong emphasis on anatomy and somatic practices.
The inaugural Fall 2025 session runs for 12 weeks, from September 15 to December 15, comprising 6 hours of coursework per week.

Professional Training Program
The Aimed Dance Professional Training Program aims to produce well-rounded dance artists prepared for success in a wide range of dance opportunities.
The Aimed Dance Professional Training Program’s advanced educational practices seek to foster an introspective approach to dance training, allowing for individualized growth through rigorous anatomical and somatic studies.
Dancers will participate in two 3-hour class sessions per week. Each class will begin with an anatomy and/or somatic study followed by technique courses.
Course Principles:
Anatomical Studies
The body is the instrument of each dancing artists. AD - PTP focus begins with the study of body mechanics and how a more in-depth practice will empower performance and longevity.
Somatic Practices
Somatic studies focus on the whole person paradigm from breath to body work utilizing cross training tools and theories to facilitate overall health and wellness through dance training.
A Modern Approach
Aimed Dance centers on modern dance technique as a classical dance form while incorporating contemporary theories and approaches for a well-rounded and complete professional dance training experience.
Fall 2025, the pilot session, will run from September 15 to December 15, 2025.
Classes will be held from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Tuition & Fees
There is a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $50 to be paid at time of registration.
Monthly tuition of $250 must be paid by the 15th of Sept, Oct, and Nov. A discount will be offered to participants who pay the full session tuition up front.
The Fall 2025 session must enroll 8 students for the program to move forward and will not take on more than 16 students at this time.
Students are required to attend the Trial Class & Information Session to be considered for the program. The session for Fall 2025 will be on Friday, August 22 from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm. The Aimed Dance Professional Training Program is a supplemental program for home-schooled dancers looking for the extra push toward a career in the vast offerings of the dance world. This could include performing with a professional dance company or seeking a collegiate experience. The Aimed Dance faculty is equipped with the knowledge and information to assist you on this journey.
This program is not to take the place of dance training and programs that participants are already dedicated to. The program should not conflict with community companies and/or teams.
The inaugural pilot program will not include performances, recitals, competitions, or additional commitments outside of the training program. We are seeking dancers ready to engage in additional training and information to enhance their practice and broaden their education of dance practices.
