Tyler Rooney is a Houston-based theater and dance performing artist. After earning an associates in fine arts at San Jacinto College (SJC), Tyler is currently in his second year in the Lamar University Department of Theatre & Dance working toward a bachelor of science with a dance emphasis. Having committed to a path in dance a short four years ago, Tyler credits most of training to the teachings of Jamie Williams, Jennifer Salter, and other great guest artists associated with SJC, as well as all his theater training from Ralph Ehntholt, Lee-Ann Farley, Brian Hamlin, Kevin Holding, and a large list of professors associated with San Jac Theatre. Since joining the Lamar University program, Tyler has had the pleasure of training with Amy Elizabeth, Travis Prokop, and Golden Wright, appearing in multiple dance works, and playing The Herdsman in Bakkhai directed by Joel Grothe of the LU theatre program.  Tyler's professional work has grown to include performing and choreographing for Mind The Gap, Stilts/Cyr Wheel/ Character work for Silver Lynxie Circus, Greg in The Chorus Line for Juxtapose, and Angie The OX for The Art Park Players.

Jorge Rodriguez has been dancing for eight years. He has learned many styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Clogging, Bollywood, Ballroom, Modern, and Lyrical; with his favorite styles being Hip Hop, Contemporary, Latin, Aerial Silks, and Tap. As a competitive dancer, he has received many individual awards and scholarships from the following: 8 National, 24 Seven, Artists Simply Human, Celebrity, Radix, Streetz, 24 Seven, and West Coast Dance Explosion. Jorge was recently selected as a featured dancer for the Artists Simply Human Intensive on Tour and has been an assistant for Dance League Company, a national touring dance company, and Ginger Gondron Dance Arts, a local dance studio. Jorge is currently a member of Waves the Movement Project and a pre-professional who plans to pursue a career in the commercial entertainment industry.

Rachel Curtis graduated with a double major in Theatre & Dance and Corporate Communications in 2020. She was an apprentice member of the Aimed Dance company, and has performed at ACDA south-central region conference, Bailando International Dance Festival, Tainan University of Technology, Tarrant County College District Concert, and at Mind the Gap. After graduation she intends to perform in the Houston area before pursuing a career in stage management.

Meagan is 14 years old and has been dancing since the age of 4 and has been part of the City Dance Center competition team since she was 8 years old. Meagan was also on the Dance League team in 2018. She is a very hard worker in dance and in academics. She is a straight A student and is part of the Student Council at Hamshire-Fannett High School. Meagan is very dedicated to her craft and has been awarded several scholarships over her dancing career.

Amethyst is currently a senior within the Department of Theatre & Dance at Lamar University. Working toward a B.S. with a dance emphasis, Amethyst loves all areas of dance with hip hop being her favorite genre. You can seen Amethyst passion shine as a hip hop teacher in a local studio here in SETX. Upon graduation, Amethyst plans to continue sharing her love for dance as a high school drill team director.

Danny is 16 years old and has been dancing at City Dance Center for 5 years and is a senior company member. He has won scholarships at various dance conventions and he was 1st runner up for Teen Male Dancer of the Year 2019 at the Streetz Dance Convention. He was recently signed with Clear Talent Group in Los Angeles and is hoping to start his career very soon. He has also performed in several musicals and is a theatre company member at Inspiration Stage in Sugar Land. He loves to choreograph and has choreographed his own solo this season as well as a group routine.
